CEDAR SISTERS
Rooted in culture. Made by hand.
Cedar Sisters is a female-led Indigenous business. We create handmade art and gifts inspired by the land, our ancestors, and the living traditions we carry forward.
Founded by Rory Richards and her daughters, Maya and Miriam, our family is from the shíshálh Nation. As proud second- and third-generation craft sellers, we honour the skills passed down to us by sharing our work with families, communities, and visitors.
Cedar Sisters is also a circle. We welcome other Indigenous women artists and makers into our growing community, creating space for their gifts, stories, and work within our collections.
Cedar is sacred to us as Indigenous people. Often called the Tree of Life, cedar has sheltered and sustained our communities for generations.
From cedar, we build homes and canoes, weave clothing and baskets, and create tools and ceremonial items that support daily life. Its importance is woven through our history, our teachings, and our relationship with the land, the Creator, and our ancestors.
To receive a gift made with cedar is to receive something sacred, offered with respect, intention, and love.
All of our pieces are handmade with care and intention.
Custom orders, corporate gifts, and larger-volume packages are available. Please contact us for pricing, timelines, and design options.
We would be honoured to be part of your conference, gathering, or special event. Whether you are looking for delegate gifts, VIP packages, or on-site vendor participation, Cedar Sisters can help you offer meaningful, Indigenous-made items.
Please share your event details with us, and we will follow up to discuss options, quantities, and budgets.
