A beautiful place for the things you treasure.

These cedar bentwood boxes feature artwork by Richard Krentz, a Coast Salish artist from the shíshálh Nation. The sides are formed from a single piece of cedar, grooved at the corners, steamed and bent into shape. A removable lid completes the box, with striking artwork on the lid and sides.

Choose from Eagle, Wolf, Hummingbird or Whale. Each features a distinctive lid design with its own meaning, while sharing the same box size and construction.

Richard was our founder Rory’s uncle and Maya and Miriam’s great-uncle. Sharing his artwork through Cedar Sisters Trading continues a creative connection across generations of our family.

A special place for jewellery, treasured notes and small keepsakes, and a thoughtful gift for milestones, thank-yous and celebrations.
